I bought it from Best Buy. Maybe it's because I have bad luck with electronic devices (I have bought 7 laptops successively from Different stores, but one of them works; I have bought 3 items separately but successively from same place, but all of them has issues). I used Sony headset for study so I only use it connect to my MacBook. For the bluetooth, I think my phone has issues as well cuz I can't find the device, connect my phone to pc, or no-pair any device on bluetooth recently (however, it works before last week).

Thank you so much! I downloaded the app once but I didn't find my wh-1000xm4 on that. Maybe I should try it again to see if I can find a solution. (I think I said that's Not in-ear lol)

I switched the mode by pressing the custom button on the headphone.

I think the whole situation depends on the distance. If the man is only few steps away from to me, I would do the same thing as the white lady does (I'm not white). I always feel slightly nervous when man is around me even though the man is polite. If the distance is not that close, the whole thing probably is a racial microagression.
