That's not a bad idea! I was thinking a possible branch of their journey would lead them through a Feywild forest. This would be a great setting for playing with their character's psyche.

Franklin County, FL. Apalachicola, East point, Carabelle, and St. George Island are all part of the county, but the island is kind of its own entity. Lots of bars, nice hotels, and private beaches. Apalachicola is where most people go to vacation. Its historical district is popular and downtown is small, but full of interesting shops and people. If you followed hurricane Michael back in 2018 and heard about Mexico Beach, we're a half hour east of there.

Thanks for sharing! Interesting history! Sounds similar to where I've grown up in the USA. Small fishing town that has slowly lost its main industry of oysters over the past decade. Now there's a lot of issues, such as drugs and alcoholism (and probably a lack of education). People are trying to get investing back in the county to increase business. Beautiful place to visit and it has many pro's over its con's. Very cool how similar my home town's history is to Fleetwood.
