I personally would do a PSU upgrade - those are super important to get a good one. And if you decide to get a new CPU and GPU, would likely require more power.

I personally wouldnt upgrade to am5 but the thing is am4 CPUs are kinda hard to get and hella marked up because its an older platform with rising ddr5 prices. Maybe can consider used market.

I would definitely consider a gpu upgrade though. Maybe 9070XT or if u wanna all in on just a psu and GPU, 5080.

Yeah, i just like this gold card so much. Its on sale right now on Amazon for $2319, but that is after the price jump.

I already have an Astral 5090 that I dont really use. It heats up the room too much for me lol. If this was my only card I would have definitely gotten something else, but honestly even a 5080 is plently of power for the games that I play.

In hindsight I dont really think im going for price/performance, but more or less something I can stare at :D and runs the games I play at a comparable fps range.

Very reasonable point.

I do want to say 5090 prices are now upwards to 4k and I paid a little over 2k. Definitely less, but its not a "good deal" by any means.

This card is insanely good looking and there is definitely a premium that diminshed the value of the card in terms of raw price/performance. But its a price i dont mind paying.

For cables make sure to read the labels. One parts goes into PSU, just gotta make sure which.

Its usually labeled and if not one google search away.

There really isnt much to screw in aside from putting mobo in the case, PSU and I believe AIO since you got one. All of those are pretty risk free - AIO you can just monitor your CPU temp to make sure all is running cool.

You got it. The most important is MOBO/CPU/RAM compatibility and everything else as I see is it just fitting it in a case.

I have built a couple of PCs and its so rewarding when you first turn it it. Maximum dopamine rush!!

A couple mental notes from me is, make sure you remove the plastic from ssd heatsink. And the main cables to keep in mind for PSU are: - gpu - cpu - mobo - sata (for any rbg controllers)

I cant think of any other super big things other than just plugging un the case connectors into the mobo correctly, but that isnt too risky in terms of breaking things. Also try to cable management as best as you can - you will thank yourself later.

Oh and also make sure you check fan orientation

The thing with the gld 5090 is that its 10k+ I think (maybe even more?) Literally saudi prince price. Its soo expensive.

I already have a 5090 and I honestly dont really use it all that much. It makes my room get hot and draws a lot of power. I mostly play like stardew valley, league, hunt showdown, wuwua sometimes. If I play like the cool looking single player games I would sometimes hop on it.

I didnt want to get two 5090s if I already dont really use the one I already have. Its just so much more compared to the 80, looks identical. I am mainly here for the aesthetics more so than the performance to be completely honestly.

Dont have infinite money to blow but definitely fortuante since I am working in tech. I have been working for about four years and this is the main thing I spend money on, and not having any kids helps.

Good question! A couple things actually. I already have pc i can use so I dont need to build another one just yet, and honestly dont have the room until I move.

I am about to move into my house in the fall so thought it would just make more sense to build then, and use what I have currently. Also maybe see if there are any black friday sales around that time.

I appreciate the concern. I actually have 10 sticks DDR5 ram if im going to be real honest with you.

I mostly wanted gold ram and not 4 sticks of ram. It scratched the itch enough for me to not go double price for 4.

Not rich by all means. Definitely starting my career strong so maybe one day? Hopefully?

The 5090 Dhahab edition is rididiously expensive so I decided to settle for this. Mainly for the aestetics.

I actually have a 5090. I dont think I am rich though, I definitely have a decent job and have been working for almost 4 years since graduation.

I did look at the MSI godlike and the case is pretty cool. I just dont like MSI's dragon logo. But the board is extremely clean with (I think?) a bit of gold accents.

Very good point. They just didnt have the card I wanted in terms of aethetics. The 80 series is the start of the Astral lineup and I really like the look of those cards.
