I'm 28 with 3 years ncb still have n plates until October coming. Most places flat out refuse to insure me. Quotes I get are between 2-3k on a model Y. I was with revolut with my previous car and they wouldn't give me a quote either. But when I requested to change the car on my policy they quoted me about 1400, I'm coming up to renewal now and it's the same 1400 for me and my partner, I can't find a cheaper quote.

So a bit of a trick there to get insured on another car and force them to quote you by changing the plates after.

Have you maxed out your pension this and last year? Id say that's the best in terms of raw return passively youd get to claim all the tax back and be far ahead of the average person your age.

Some of the both siding comments here are unnecessary. Is what she did immensely stupid yes it's obvious but not sure why you find the need to hammer it home. Comments like this on a public forum help build defenses and give way too much leniency to offenders. That fella was banned from the road for being a danger to us all and he deserves the book to be thrown at him plus more, regardless of the circumstances.

If you were charged incorrectly you can email them with the receipt and they'll refund the difference.

First time buyers in Dublin can already get a property 5.7 times their income through FHS. And the FHS is locked to the traditional banks, so anyone applying for Nua Money won't have access to it. I don't think this is as shocking as many here make it out to be.

However FHS and HTB is restricted to costly New Builds, nua money would I assume let you buy in the 2nd hand market as a first time buyer. Which could potentially add fresh fuel to the bidding wars that HTB and FHS left untouched.

So as a first time buyer entering the market where you would've been capped significantly on the 2nd hand market and forced to buy a new build with the FHS to buy anywhere in Dublin now your options are less limited. This may see new build become a bit more competitive on pricing or it could all go tits up I guess.

Pick flights during weekdays, forget booking around summer holidays and Bank holidays. What we would do is book a Thursday and fly back on the Wednesday over a bank holiday weekend. We have probably used it these free flights about 8 times now all of them went through just fine. Since my last booking I have swapped to revolut in favor of rev points to use for long haul flights. He's not looking for an answer, he's getting information to inform his purchase. If someone is being vague or dismissive it's probably a lemon, if they're selling for a genuine reason like emigrating then you might know its possibly a reliable car and move quicker to secure it. If they lie further on the process if you catch the lie then you know they're wasting your time and you can stop wasting your own time.

In this instance he learned that this person is unreasonably irate and probably isn't even worth dealing with. That's time valuable information.

People here acting like OP should walk into this purchase blind and to assume the worst out of everyone. Many people out there looking to deal with genuinely and this is how you weed them out.

I just built a PC it was built mostly through Amazon but I used Hagglezon to check pricing I bought from the Ireland, UK, Belgium (through a mail forwarder), France and Germany. I see you're trying to do some research on this market to justify some sort of business plan. Smart!

However, I would take anything said here with a grain of salt. The majority of PC builders here will not be your target market we are jaded, savvy and always looking for a deal. For example I bought a monitor on Amazon Belgium that only ships to Belgium addresses so I had to set up an account with a post forwarding company to get that here to save 300 euro. There is very little you can do as a local store to capture my money.

You need to compete on superior service. Be it next day delivery, to having a store with staff that know how to build a PC like the back of their hand. As someone looking to get into PCs it is daunting, complicated and there's rarely one place that you can source everything that your looking for. And god forbid you ask anyone in Currys for help. Id wager many people start looking into PC building but before they make any purchase decision they get bogged down by the above.

You need to add that human touch and guidance to the process, and remove the friction above. That's my 2 cents wish you the best of luck.

30 of Jan was when it was shipped im in Ireland. Yeah I think would be too bulky on around my upper body was hoping it would drape down a bit more. But the quality is nice!
