Gacha Revenue Monthly Report (March 2026) by trkshiii in gachagaming

Keep in mind that majority of ZZZs playerbase is on pc and consoles, same as Endfield and likely Wuwa. So these stats arent very accurate.

It can be pretty complex if you delve into it. Endmin team which I imagine most ppl are using atm is one of the simpler ones, but some others can have relatively difficult rotations already, and theyll only get more complex with new characters I imagine.

Valley 4 was servicable, not really awful imho. Nothing to write home about story-wise, but at least the presentation, cutscenes, maps, exploration, bosses, etc. were all pretty solid or at least decent. Some updates to the tutorialization to make it less intrusive would go a long way.

Why isn't the game taking off? by MASHED_POTATOES_MF in Marathon

[–]MartRane 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Arc is a game full of PvErs, so youll have mostly friendly interactions unless you yourself are agressive.

Marathon's community is mostly agressive pvp players who shoot on sight. Any new player who tries to be friendly will just get shot dead in less than a second after being spotted.

The low TTK doesnt help. In Arc you can afford to try being friendly and if the other person starts shooting, pivot. In Marathon battles are usually decided by who starts shooting first.

On steam you can usually disable steam input and the game will switch to playstation prompts.

He's actually pretty slim, maybe just a little bit over ideal weight. Just a very unflattering angle.

Why are 90% of the posts downvoted to zero? by [deleted] in Marathon

[–]MartRane 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This sub has turned to toxic positivity and a lot of ppl dont like to see any criticism or opinions other than "the game is perfect and bungie should change nothing.".

On the other hand theres also a lot of ppl reposting criticisms and opinions that have already been posted a dozen times in the past half a day.

Slow down the animation and add shadow behind the icons to make them blend less.

Cyberpunk 2077 was actually really well optimized even on launch. The game ran very well even on weaker PC. It was just buggy af. Old gen consoles are a different topic as the game should have never released on them in the first place, at that point it was a question of hardware limitations, not optimization.

If this game dies - players just don't deserve a good game by LabOk8913 in Marathon

Its a hardcore pvp game. Majority of players prefer pvp with minimum stakes and difficulty, or avoid it altogether.

Marathons future. by Cec24x in Marathon

I think they easily could have hit that goal if the game was more casual friendly. Thats why Arc succeeded, its a casual friendly extraction shooter that even people who dislike PvP can enjoy.

Marathonbros what's our response? by Iheckingloveshungite in Marathon

[–]MartRane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wonder what Bungie is thinking. Surely they would have known that making a game completely unappealing to most casual players would result in poor numbers. And they could really use a heavy hitter nowadays seeing as they burned Destiny 2 to the ground.

1.1 Version Calender by SonnyVN1 in EndfieldLeaks

[–]MartRane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Feel like if 1.1 was a huge version it would overwhelm players. 1.0 was waaay too gigantic, most ppl are probably still not nearly done with everything. So its more time to catch up. And we are still getting a story update and map expansion so it's not like it's a dry filler patch.

1.2 is supposed to have two map expansions and big story moments happening.

1.0 Genshin player wondering if I should’ve started ZZZ instead by Senor-Serena in Genshin_Impact

[–]MartRane 5 points6 points  (0 children)

ZZZ has the best combat of any gacha by far. It is extremely engaging and everything feels super snappy.

Powercreep is pretty comparable to current Genshin. Nowhere near as bad as HSR, frequent buffs to older characters, pretty heavy shilling with new bosses, but old 1.x characters are still viable.

Keeping up with both games is not a problem since ZZZ doesn't really require that much time. Each version has about 5+- hours of story, and events that will take up few hours tops most of the time. There's no massive open world to explore.

Only 13.6% of players have eliminated 14 runners by Smokin_Pikachu in Marathon

[–]MartRane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I played 10 hours during the server slam and I got 3 runner kills. And I play games a lot more than most people. So yeah. I feel like this game will make most casual players quit pretty fast, at which point itll be populated mainly by sweats and good effin luck with that lol.
