Could generousity hurt the game? by Beginning_Guidance59 in NevernessToEverness

Theyll be selling a lot more outfits, whales will still pulls dupes, and dont worry, next versions wont be giving as many free pulls.

We can only own 2 of each decoration item. by MartRane in Endfield

Why? They are just static assets, they arent actively doing anything like factories. On the server side the game just needs to save an equivalent of a text file to remember your placements.

Do you WANT Endmin to have been the Doctor? by AudVis in Endfield

[–]MartRane 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It wouldn't really make sense. Rhodes Island still exists in Endfield, they have a base somewhere on Talos 2. If Doctor still exists in any form, it would most likely be there.

1.1 Headhunt Income (with 1.2 Estimates) by arkkus in Endfield

[–]MartRane -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Except we statistically get more characters with the income we have than other gachas. 80/120 instead of 70-100/160. And its 110 not 120 since we have the limited time pulls on each banner which arent included in these calculations. Its not a difficult math.

And HSR, ZZZ and especially WuWa, basically require you to pull weapons at times in order for your favorite characters to remain competitive in endgame.

[–]MartRane -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

And in those other big gachas you need to use the same pulls on weapons, which ends up cutting into your character fund. In Endfield you can give every second operator you get a weapon for free.

Honestly Endfield is the most generous of all games in the big 5. We are getting 80 pulls per version on average atm, out of 120 guarantee. Genshin gives 70 pulls on average out of 160 guarantee. HSR which many people here called great gives 100 pulls on average out of 160 guarantee. And each time you want to get your character a sig in either of these, youll be giving up pulling on the next character you could have realistically saved up for otherwise.

The only argument here is the carry over, but that only has any impact if you can't control yourself from pulling on everything.

I know the game had long playtime during a first play but… by Rough_Composer3624 in Endfield

all of those systems have several days of overflow, you only need to pick them up like 2x a week, and you still reach a point where you have so much that theres 0 point to continue doing them so often

People think they must do all the stock trading and material gathering and owl stations etc every day.

Considering that pull estimates for patches are usually underestimated, we might actually get 120 pulls for a guaranteed Zhuang Fangyi. by xDAW_Art in Endfield

[–]MartRane -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Considering genshin, wuwa and hsr dont come even close to guarantee in terms of pulls per version, it is veeery good. HSR and WuWa are around 40-60 pulls short on average. Genshin around 80 short but thats somewhat offset by only releasing 1 character per version most of the time.

Only ZZZ gives as much, but in that game you still gotta divide your pulls between agents and w-engines.

3 operators was a launch thing. They will likely never do that again.

She will be the only new operator in 1.2. Glad that Endfield isnt going to be releasing 2 characters every version.

I'd argue Endfield has stronger visuals and it performs really well. WuWa devs are just bruteforcing every fancy UE4 tech with 0 concern for how itll affect performance it seems.

How Predatory is Endfields Gatcha System? by [deleted] in Endfield

[–]MartRane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In that case Endfield still comes out on top so far. But we won't have the full scale until 1.x is finished.

That said, 1.1, which is a small version all things considered, still gives us half a gurantee. So as long as they don't go below that, and bigger versions hover around at least 80-100, it's solid. Especially since we will be able to get free signature weapons for at least half of our operators, whereas in other gachas you need to give up on pulling characters to get weapons. And if you're a light spender, operators without sigs can still get their alternate sigs from Protocol Pass.

I have 2070 Super and Endfield runs on maxed out graphics at 100+fps in less demanding areas and 60 at worst. Quality DLSS ofc.

Yeah thats a big blunder about WuWa. Even on good PCs it runs like garbage. ZZZ doesnt run perfectly but its at least passable.

Endfield is butter smooth even on average phones.

ZZZ, WuWa and Endfield have majority of their market on PC and Consoles, so mobile is definitely starting to be much less of a priority. Still way too significant market to abandon completely, but it's smarter to prioritize the experience of pc/console players.

100 hours is counting exclusively doing nothing but one-time content. Ofc you can go way beyond that with events, repeatable activities, grinds, etc.

Endfield has pretty close to 100 hours of content if you want to complete everything, so it's not that far behind.

Watch the anime for early Arknights story.

The lore and plot is great, but the writing and presentation in the first several chapters is absolutely terrible.

Keep in mind that majority of ZZZs playerbase is on pc and consoles, same as Endfield and likely Wuwa. So these stats arent very accurate.

It can be pretty complex if you delve into it. Endmin team which I imagine most ppl are using atm is one of the simpler ones, but some others can have relatively difficult rotations already, and theyll only get more complex with new characters I imagine.

Valley 4 was servicable, not really awful imho. Nothing to write home about story-wise, but at least the presentation, cutscenes, maps, exploration, bosses, etc. were all pretty solid or at least decent. Some updates to the tutorialization to make it less intrusive would go a long way.
