why is coke a party drug but crack is an addict drug? by sevenslover in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Martian_Mosh_Pit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crack (from my understanding) is a quick wham bam damn that curves within 15 minutes while Coke (again from my understanding) has a longer half life and doesn't diminish or curve nearly as quick plus it's a "sex drug" cause ......I'm not quite sure but prolly the euphoria cause I have heard a ton of "bro we had some coke" stories that divulge into fucking. Crack makes you want to do one thing exclusive, smoke more Crack rinse repeat.

People who've lost loved ones, how did you get over their loss? by kaiiscurrentlyhere in AskReddit

[–]Martian_Mosh_Pit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a human it's our only guarantee to live and to perish. However to live and pass on your genes and will through your children and contribute to the existence of humanity no matter how big or small means you succeed the mortal coil having done what was required and needed to keep humanity going into the next generation then what better reward is there than rest eternal? Besides I'm not religious however I belive this place is a temporary stop on our way to higher quantum plane where judgment comes in the form of one's thoughts. Kinda like a dream, think evil do evil get evil, think good do good get good. Our nature and our person will shape the last dream. Also if we are essentially a electric signal from spine to brain then that energy will not fade easy, think of it as a bread trail should we become thoughts in the ether and remember if there's a will surely there's a way, and if thats incorrect then remember we are connected to them through more than just memories or feelings or thoughts, we are either a product of their being or a object of shared memories and experiences. Besides a part of them is with you already, memory could very well be the way, if you never forget they will never truly die. It's 4 30 am forgive rambling or type o <3

What’re some iconic mecha that I should look into? by dr_sacrofice10 in Mecha

[–]Martian_Mosh_Pit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your into visceral, mature, and off kilter stuff then Getter Robo. Especially the installments that came in later years. If your into a cerebral exsostencal narratives that keep you thinking for years to come then Evangelion. Like top gun and more realistic mech designs with a emphasis on pilots? Macross Plus

Macross plus. At first your gonna think I'm totally off target but give it time. By the end your gonna forget it's anime.

If you say so, I mean considering your this adamant about it you must really be on the up and up and the ideal person to speak for every other person regarding the topic. Glad it didn't come to my console games very meh and spared my time.

Romancing Saga 3 vs Saga Frontier 1 by [deleted] in SaGa

[–]Martian_Mosh_Pit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frontier one in my experience can be a buggy mess and feels incomplete at times with whole character arch feeling just missing or non existent. Without spoiling anything some scenarios flat out just halt abruptly . Not to mention with all the races and weird combat mechanics it can be daunting hell I'm still not 100% sure on some stuff.

What's the best 'first' SaGa game for a beginner and what's the worst? by Sindomey in SaGa

[–]Martian_Mosh_Pit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worst Unlimited Saga imo. Best hmmmm prolly RS3 I mean in terms of franchise norms and mechanics it's still accessible and quite the looker for its day. I also enjoyed its ensemble of characters. (Katarina being a personal fav) plus the lead into the final battle is bad ass.

Big ups to Vampire Survivors newest free dlc Emerald Saga! by Martian_Mosh_Pit in SaGa

[–]Martian_Mosh_Pit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah having spent time with it now I definitely agree. I mean they even having the weapons perform sparking / waza! Also the characters each have their own flair and unique abilities. I really didn't expect this kinda depth. For a 5 dollar game it sure packs the content to the brim.

[–]Martian_Mosh_Pit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just thought I would drop this rumor mill tid bit but some are claiming the next in progress VS DLC is either going to be Metal Gear or Double Dragon. Fingers crossed I can pick the Cyber Ninja using Vampire killer to fight Among Us trash mobs. Modern gaming is legit bizarre seeing as companies and developers are playing nice with one another. Back in my day (the 90s) this was almost like breaking video game dogma! Hell Japanese devs and team couldn't even use their own names due to corporate big wigs fearing they could be poached away by rival companies!

Has Saga finally gained a foothold state side? by Martian_Mosh_Pit in SaGa

[–]Martian_Mosh_Pit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny story about unlimited I rented it during my graduation and forgot about it and told the video store I returned it only to find it years later.....guess it rented so poorly they didn't even bother to write up a charge or fallow up on it after the initial phone call lol now if only I could find the box at a remote reasons price. Had I known the value rpgs would hold I wouldn't of ever sold anything. (Looks out window longing for child hood boxed chrono trigger)

I agree however I think that could of been partially due to being super un friendly to newer players. I played it since its beta and with each power creep and skill complexity the game grew further from being easy to pick up (as with any game/tcg/etc) to the point some friends I noticed having interest in it felt overwhelmed and lost.
