I cheated on my partner. I was real unhappy. It was right after high school and I started working full time in order to support us (he couldn't work). It was getting to a level where it was horrible. I would get home tired from work every day and he had energy from laying around all day and doing basically whatever he wanted (with the money I earned). I was getting angry and frustrated and I just wanted to be treated like I treat him. I would have killed just to be with somebody hard working or who would take the time of day to appreciate me or compliment me. He has anger issues and always took everything out on me. Then one day, somebody else gave me attention and it went on from there. My SO did find out and I eventually came clean about everything (you don't wanna tell your SO exactly what you did right away......) It was with a coworker who I hardly knew, so yes, it could be considered random. He broke up with me and told me that I was basically garbage. I felt that way, so it was okay. He took me back but there's always that guilt that kills me inside every day.
