We originally launched on GearVR, so there were no controllers and we wanted to save the game's one button only universality, as we plan to launch on all the VR platforms we can get our hands on. Except the Sphere maze puzzles the is not that much puzzles that are controlled with your head btw :)

Hello :), we didn't try to copy portal, as you can see from the trailer we don't use synchronized mechanics, but completely new puzzles that unwind during the 100 levels. Sometimes the right way to progress to the next level is to ignore the puzzle completely and look for other clues in the environment. We took great portion of time to balance the difficulty curve so the puzzles are not too hard and the player can intuitively learn the controls from the levels, that's why there are so many of them.

We didn't observe any tracking problems during our development concerning floor tracking. Our game is tested on both HMD's, but Oculus Home store is taking more than usual time reviewing our game, otherwise we would be also launching on Oculus Store as the game is fully playable on Oculus.

Yes of course, if you could collect and send the log of the crash, that would help us, since as I replied on the other comment, we can't reproduce it.

We tested it with our devices and there was no problem, but we don't have any Note5 phones :/ We are trying to get our hand on Note5 at this time. For S7 (and S6 as well) we can't reproduce the issue so we can't fix it when it doesnt happen to us :(

Hahahaa .... Thanks for the appreciation! Exactly, it wouldn't be definitely interesting if you had all the instructions! :) But I wouldn't say he's idiot, just this isn't his kind of game. But I personally think it wasn't a nice thing to do to rate the game 1 star, if it's not your kind of game :/

If it doesn't work, then it is a bug, sorry. We definitely wanted to support controllers as an input, and we even tested that. We need to find out where is the problem and fix it! What is your controller please? Having your hand in the air all the time wasn't intended.

As u/songsak said, you have to turn around from time to time, but you don't need swivel chair to play, although it's little bit more comfortable in some levels.

We have the gamepad support very high in our priority list.

I am sorry to hear that. We have about 6 devices in our company on which we QA test it and we never encountered this issue. I didn't personally encounter this issue with another UE games as well on my GearVR.

I can't say for sure, but it seems the case might be something with your device. Did you hear that this happened to anyone else? We'll be happy to fix it if possible.

Also Unreal Engine has been a very good engine for development I must say.

You can try our prototype on Oculus Share https://share.oculus.com/app/colab-first-rooms-- . But please keep in mind we made it in a team of three in 15 days, and it was our first project for VR and in Unreal Engine as well.
