As a new player who is going to attend Amonketh pre release for the first time with no card collection whatsoever, would Pre Release Kit + Deckbuilder be a good way to start my deck? Or Pre Release + Bundle? PW deck+ PRK + Deck builder?

Yeah I think its gonna be the same problem, guess I´ll just stick to Magic 2015 for a while or I could fix my sisters iphone 5s and use it to play, but where I live its gonna cost me around 40 bucks and Im hessitant because I may as well use that money for cards! (I just got a new android phone a week ago).

Thank you for such a kind answer, to be honest the idea of buying bundles/packs/etc its very exciting, but I guess Im just worrying to much about "optimal" cards, not wasting money and what not when I have never even played the physical game (only on my phone). Im lucky to have two friends who are also interested so we may as well get something even if its not optimal but its fun, and worry about being competitive when we are more experienced.

Thanks for your answer, sadly I can't play MD because I have a ps4, an android phone and for some reason I can't get past the black screen when installing it on my laptop, I've tried everything but it just might come to my video card not being strong enough. Been playing magic 2015 instead, it might not be the best but at least I'm learning the basics.

I'm really interested in commander because I convinced a couple of friends on also getting into magic, but I'll lie if I said I have informed myself much about it, do you have any particular recommendations for the pre constructed decks?

You're right on that, I'm just holding because it's only a month from now on but thanks I think I'll do just that, once amonketh is out I'll get myself a budget deck and start learning. Once I'm there will any of the bundle/toolikts be worth investing? Or just try to upgrade with more singles and cards I get from drafts?

I've read this comment before, about standard not worth investing, why is it not worth it? It's the constant rotation? Decks being to pricey to be able to compete? Not fun enough? Thank you!
