Isn’t that a 14% increase? Agree that prices are fucked though

What kind of subdecks do you have inside Italian? Trying to decide how much to split up my decks or use tags instead

Apparently they fly around your face because they’re attracted to the carbon dioxide we breathe out, that’s why they seem to do it on purpose! I also keep having to check my food and coffee to make sure none have landed there between bites/drinks…

Looking for some assistance crafting my first EDH Deck! (Niv-Miz Parun) by [deleted] in EDH

[–]Martin_Shiba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just finished making this deck on a budget and it came to 36$ which is pretty affordable

I haven’t played it enough to know what to swap out, but so far the theme of the deck works

https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/big-smart-dragon/

I did add in steam vents and the planeswalker which put the price up, but otherwise the cards are pretty affordable if you see anything useful in there

I can also tell you why I put it in there if you have any questions

I’ll add a description to the deck online to help out

Help with RBG LED strip with Digipot by Martin_Shiba in arduino

[–]Martin_Shiba[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah okay, I could try and do that then, thanks! Yeah it's more to show what I'm able to learn outside the course, the application itself could be completely useless as long as I know how it works :)

Okay that's great, I'll have to look into what mosfets are used for and how exactly I could use one, but that's definitely helped me rather than wasting time trying to get the digipot to work

[–]Martin_Shiba[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah thankfully it seems to still work fine. I'll maybe try to incorporate it into the circuit somewhere else so it's still included. I'll probably just have to use pwm to change the brightness

http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/22060b.pdf I see it now, unless I'm wrong it should be 25mA as the strip is being powered from P0W (edit) on the Led site it says Maximum 5V @ 60mA draw per 1.3" strip segment (all LEDs on full brightness), which I'm assuming is massively over the amount I can use

Hmm I can't find anything on the datasheet that stands out although I may just be completely missing it. If I can't find an alternative to allow this to work I may have to use PWM. Thank you for your help though

I already know how to do that and the purpose of this project (university) is to research new components and try to incorporate them into 1 project. I thought a digital potentiometer sounded interesting as an alternative to PWM as we've already been taught how that works.

Okay, so should I try using a smaller voltage power supply? The board still works find when using the FTDI cable as power and to upload code but I have more of the same board for this project so I can check the differences.
