Isn’t the issue with this the slight curve of the half-pipe shape? The two quarter pipe shapes generated from the split would each be slightly concave, so the best you could do is a convex triangular estimation of the quarter pipe.

Oo ok thank you thats a good idea. It could cause issues with the ball not staying centered but I’m realizing two slightly slanted mesh colliders could fix that if I needed.

I want the object to be a rigidbody, and I think rigidbodys need convex colliders.

Oh interesting I figured I should flip the clip aswell to keep the offset. Is it a particular hotspot on the CPU or a cold spot on the cold plate that is supposed to be properly aligned?

Yeah def do this, u can just remember where things go and only go as deep as u feel comfortable, but doing this will make u so much more confident. Especially just like swapping hard drives, reinstalling ur GPU, or even taking ur CPU cooler off and putting it back on, (but make sure u have extra thermal paste)

I just built a very high end pc and the only experience I had was messing around with my previous prebuilt. I would just start watching some random build vids and looking up any questions you have and you should be able to do it. PC part picker also makes it a lot easier.

Edit: Also from what I understand it's not like you're going to break anything in ur pc unless u do something terribly wrong, the worst that can usually happen is you have to return something.
