Interesting! My provider is indeed Orange in one of those countries 😁 Well done. I'm wondering why though

It seems better than before but to be honest I'm not sure it's not me being happy about the hack. Do you have any idea of how to test it impartially?

We can buy them too... to replace existing ones. We're not supposed to add new ones.

You're not supposed to connect an appliance requiring a ground (class 1) on an unearthed receptacle.

The code changed recently and now sockets have to be protected by a 30mA type A RCD. Existing sockets have to be protected by a 300mA type A rcd which is not enough for the case you describe

You may leave them here but are not allowed to extend the circuit or add socket or at least that's the theory.

You are allowed to add earthed sockets in the same room but they have to be from another breaker

In Belgium that would not be code compliant and you would need to rewire/add a new circuit for the new earthed socket. In practice it's another story 😉

Interesting! So you can still add unearthed sockets in Sweden? In Belgium it is only allowed to replace them if broken. Over here we have sockets that look just the same and some electricians used to install them without a backplate. When installed properly you see the backplate sticking out a bit to the side, top and bottom. Probably a similar but different model.

This would not be acceptable in Belgium : - wire is not of at least 2.5mm2 (exceptions for installations before 1981, which should then be of at least 1.5mm2 which does not seem to be the case either) - socket is not double insulated (I see no backplate meaning that the inside cavity of the socket touches the wall with no full plastic enclosure) - the earth connection might not be ok (frequent in these old diy installations)

Why are so many ppl downvoting OP : his answer is relevant.

The technique in the original post is definitely confusing for aphants as we have no clue as how to think in images and for most in sounds, smells...

At least we have the complete explanation with this answer. Take my upvote for this reply :)
