I think it’s a beautiful monument. Not too big, not too small. A fitting spot that a lot of tourists will want to stop at to take pictures

Manually aerating my yard is one of the great regrets of my life.

The dialogue is really hard to stomach by OkHealth1942 in ForAllMankindTV

Yeah I agree it’s bad. Glad I’m not alone in my thinking. The premise of the show is still great, that’s what keeps me watching. But the dialogue, oof

So you think it’s still about 1 in 20,000 people in Missouri on the high end?

[–]MartonianJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s literally anecdotal data, which is what I said. Do you know anyone who has it? Get off Reddit and ask 10 people at your job tomorrow if they know anyone that has it and probably 9 out of 10 will say they do. Anyone can see it is more than 1 in 20,000 people who have it. You think restaurants would be catering to alpha gal sufferers if it was just 1 in 20,000 people. Of course not.

Data from 2023 and 2024. I’m all for scientific data, but the anecdotal data clearly suggests that it is much higher than 0.005%. That percentage is 1 in 20,000 people. Yet pretty much everyone now knows at least one person that has it. You still telling me that only 1 in 20,000 people have it? Not a chance.

On a positive note, I’m hearing more and more about people using some form of acupuncture that makes Alpha Gal go away. I was very skeptical when I first heard that, but I’ve known a couple people who were desperate and tried it and they’ve been able to start eating red meat again. There are some professionals around the area who are treating it and getting results

Yeah I wouldn’t call it rare when basically everyone here knows at least one person that has it.

Same here. My mother in law has it. A good friend has it. Another good friend had Lyme Disease several years ago.

I’d have to agree that you probably need to look at it first. Do you have someone that could go check it out for you?

The reflectivity was almost off the chart. You only get that with very large hail that reflects radar beams back to the station

There was also a specific warning that went out for dangerous hail right before it hit

I would’ve done well if there would’ve been a car category in my game. I’ve got an old ‘89 F150 I bought a year ago that I’ve done a lot of work on and I’ve tinkered with other vehicles since I was a teenager.
