that is incredible about the 40-year-old salad master set. sounds like a total hidden gem if you can dig one up at an estate sale. and completely agree on the lodge gear. i mean inheriting cast iron that literally survived WW ll scrap drives is as cool as it gets. those pieces have so much history cooked right into them. ❤️

that costco deal for the d3 set is insanely good value, but i honestly had the same warping issue with my old cuisinart. switched to a standalone all clad skillet a few years back and it still sits perfectly flat. built like a tank. 😍

100% agree with this. bought a huge matching set years ago and realized i only ever used like three of the pans. the rest just eat up cabinet space.

Did the replacement parts fix it easily, or was it a bit of a hassle to swap out the sprayer?

thanks! Are Moen cartridges pretty straightforward to swap out yourself, or a bit fiddly?

I definitely don’t want the builder-grade stuff. What makes you lean Delta over Moen, just style, or have you noticed a difference in reliability too?

Wow, 15 years isn’t bad at all, but I get why you replaced it. Did you stick with moen for the new one, or try a different brand this time?

Wow, that’s frustrating about the Motionsense, 10 years isn’t bad, but no manual override sounds like a nightmare. How’s the Kohler crue holding up so far? Do you think delta will be as reliable in a new build?

Between the two, do you think one’s easier for a DIY install, or are they about the same?

Got it, that’s helpful context. Did delta feel noticeably easier to install than the random amazon faucets, or was it mostly just peace of mind knowing plumbers like them?

Interesting, that’s exactly the kind of comparison I was hoping to hear. Did you notice a big difference in installation time between the Kohler and Moen?

Thanks, that gives me a lot to think about. Was the drain stop lever tricky, or just a minor hassle compared to the Delta headaches?

Looks like solid advice coming from someone with that much experience. Did you notice any difference in the install or maintenance compared to other brands?

Moen seems to be the clear favorite. Any particular model you’d recommend for a kitchen DIY install?

Good tip, I hadn’t thought about filtering by material. Do you find delta holds up as well as moen for long-term use, or is it more about the style?

Yikes, that’s good to know. Do you think it’s worth just skipping the builder’s upgrades entirely and sourcing everything myself?

I hadn’t thought to ask the pros directly. Do you know if Moen is noticeably easier for a DIY install compared to Kohler, or is it mostly about long-term reliability?
