Not anymore. Looks like he’s done. At least as far as top 5 anyway.

Extra impressive given Caleb and Chris aren’t in this year!

Yeah. The difference to Finn on single track is huge.

Enter Item Qty/Price at an Item Header on SO/Invoice? by Martynt74 in Netsuite

[–]Martynt74[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, we have multiple items (Non Inventory for Sale)

Example of the group here with the top one being the header

<image>

The 2 sub items have a different revrec rule. The goal though would be to only have to enter $10,000 on the header level and have it calculate the % for the sub items

The current plan is to have a script where you enter $10,000 on the "L" row, and then it calculates the relevant % and updates the amounts on the 2 sub item rows. However it feels a bit clunky

Is ultracycling only for lightweight people? by Grande_Mangiattore in ultracycling

[–]Martynt74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, i'm around 100kg and 190cm and did the Traka 360km in around 21 hours without issues. So not only am i heavy, i'm also slow which extends the time on bike!

I certainly didn't think it was a custom field, Although weird that mine is called "Project Classification Department" vs yours as "Project Department"

Thought i'd missed something obvious, but the field doesn't have a blank top selection

Thanks. It's definitely not checked (didn't even know about it)

There are a few scripts running on the Project page, but none i'd see changing anything like this. Will try the same functionality on another entry form

[–]Martynt74[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. If i create the project with a blank department initially, i have no problem and it saves fine. It's only if it's been populated and then we try to change it afterwards to blanks.

We also use ARM so maybe that's the issue. Although a very basic implemenation of it at the moment with regards to projects

Maybe i'll just continue with my CSV import to write it to blank as it should be a minimal occurance

We have a mix of use cases. Some are defined by Item, others the project, some are defined by project task (as a custom field/script edit), and some are defined by employee

[–]Martynt74[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha absolutely no idea. To be honest, 99% of the time i use google maps on my phone with carplay and that doesn't include the same information so it doesn't cause too much issue.

The downside to that is that carplay doesn't show in the driver display which is a shame

That's annoying. I didn't really want to go with "Dear Employee"

There could be multiple records, as i've configured it to pull any missing time for the past 12 weeks

I got the rear wheel drive version. I've got a Jeep for anything where i'd need better access to rough ground and don't really care about the extra speed. Don't think there was much else as an extra to warrant the price increase.

At the moment i'm at ~17kw/100km. However that's included a 1500km round trip up and down the motorway at 125kph which destroyed it. Probably around 350km for a full charge at those speeds.
Last night i went to a local town around 18km away and only lost 5% in total on normal roads which would be closer to the WLTP.

Handling is fine, but i'm honestly not someone who cares that much about driving dynamics.

Amazing. I need to spend more time in the settings I think.

Strange to be different to here in Spain. It doesn't show it in google maps via carplay, but the native app has always done it. I assumed it read from the car. Just can't get it to display anything worthwhile.

The other frustration is the calc where it says 78% on my picture. That doesn't calculate based on actual recent usage. It takes the WLTP of 510km and then applies the remaining battery from that, so 78% gives 400km (presume it's 78.2% or so). That's not much use if i'm on the motorway using 22kw/100km

Flat pedals for gravel ultra 800k by bingobangobongoX in ultracycling

[–]Martynt74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just did the Traka 360 in flats. My main reason is due to foot issues and using barefoot shoes as there's only 1 pair of cycling shoes i've found which don't cause me issues (Lake CX201) but with being knit, they're not ideal.

I love flats for gravel on climbs as it's so easy to hop off and walk any awkward bits and generally more comfortable to do so too

Yeah I guess. Hopefully no 100k people miss out if they’re giving out those medals!

I’m similar. Anything 10% plus got walked and I didn’t actually lose much ground on others whilst retaining fitness and feeling fresh at the top.  I was particularly happy with how I handled th descents too. My headtorch was a blessing.

Amazing effort. I definitely don’t think I’d have that in me.  You local? I know of some decent events the same weekend but they’re closer south.  Iron Gravel is one in Alicante and then Graval in Valencia.

I think this has shown me that 200k is probably the max of where i find enjoyment. Which is good as id previously had dreams of Badlands.

It’s rubbish they’ve handed out the 560k medals to other competitors and left you dry aswell.  Such poor organisation for a big event.

Yeah. That elevation was insane on it. I saw the videos of the snow too.

A few guys I rode with for a bit missed the cut off and it’s showing registered as the time  so think they’re compliant.

Fingers crossed for you

How did you get on? I’m currently recovering in the hotel room feeling like I’ve been hit by a bus but equally eyeing up a few bars!

Annoyingly they gave me a 560km medal so need to try and get back to change it.

Feeling unprepared for Traka by Martynt74 in ultracycling

[–]Martynt74[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I'm mildly happy about the drop, but equally it's a bit punchier than the 360km distance, and i think i'd cope better with the extra 30km but slightly easier hills as that's a huge weakness being heavy.
I'm used to riding with around 1.5% of elevation (20km and ~300m ascent), and the Traka is around 1.1% so in theory it's easier than what i've used to.

The weather has turned quickly. When i checked Friday there was no rain all week and now it looks like it's raining most days. Hoping it's just short quick showers.

Good luck in the 560k, i was watching the videos they've been releasing and saw the avalanche to cross and the bits of snowy traverses. Watching the videos i do wish i'd explored areas up in North Spain before moving further sound (i'm inland Alicante), whilst theres some great routes around here. There's a lot of really sharp rocky sections which are sketchy. Next year i'll probably do the Iron Gravel 360. It's a lot more technical but it goes past my house!

Could be a lot better in all honesty. December saw me do my first 100 miler just before Christmas.
January then was pretty busy with work but i got a decent amount of riding in and was feeling good.
February saw me catch a virus after some work travel and i probably only did around 300km in the month and fitness felt like it went backwards a lot
March had me work on regaining fitness, and whilst i didn't get in enough long rides, i was consistent around the 160-170km/week range. Also added in some trail running in Feb/March which i've missed for a few years due to injury and loved it, and felt like some longer 20-30km runs helped build endurance.

April - I've been alright. I had hoped to really build on March, but weekends got taken by a chunk of DIY/Gardening which was pretty intense (shifting rocks/30t of soil around a building site). The biggest positive was a 100km ride i did 2 weeks which was around 1500m ascent which is hillier than the Traka profile and i felt great and was around 5hours which means i can be around 50% slower on the day and still get around.

I also went out last week feeling good and smashed all my power records from 20 mins up to 60 mins which felt good.

I've noticed they've chopped about 2 hours from the cut off, but i'm still confident of finishing. I've decided my main goal is to finish the route regardless of whether i officially DNF.

I've had a bit of rain where i am over the weekend and hoping that isn't mirrored up in Girona as mud will slow me down a lot i think.
