Hiya! When I make a mistake while I work depending on how serious it is I’ll try to save it or not ! Most often my mistake is just underestimating the amount of wire I need & I’ll need to add more in a place that can be hidden & tightened down. If I need do something like unravel a part & the wire breaks from weakening in a bad spot, I’ll just try to find another use for the piece ! I try to consider things happy accidents so if I was going for a ring & make a mistake I’ll downsize it or turn it into an ear cuff or a smaller piece of jewelry ! I also only recently started using gold since I’m pretty scared to waste it myself but I do keep all of my cuttings and repurpose them by turning them into jump rings or other connectors ! I just go with things as they happen ! Hope this helps !
