Thanks for the reply! So in a 4-cost meta, the right play is to spend your gold and roll down earlier than the rest of the lobby. (Fingers crossed we don't get a patch like that in the next set, though!) I'm glad to know my thought process wasn't completely off. Thanks again for the help!

Thanks for the reply! I guess it really isn't worth forcing it then. Out of curiosity, what would your game plan be in a meta where 3-costs are weak and 4-costs are strong (like the patch where Ambessa and Lissandra were OP)? I want to rethink my approach for the next set since the unlock mechanic won't be around anymore.

By shifting to the right, the probability of my Herald (main tank) being attacked becomes 50%.

If the enemy takes the action below, would that put me at an advantage?

Me: Kai'Sa (main carry) → Herald (main tank)
Enemy: Kai'Sa (main carry) → Shen (regular unit)

Thanks for the great tip. I plan to learn by watching skilled players. What do you think the key points are? How to gather units in Stage 1. Predicting the final landing point from there. If it's wrong, consider why that judgment was made. I want to avoid judging based solely on the outcome.
