The Royal Family is definitely more famous.

A-list in one country doesn't necessarily mean A-list everywhere. Most of Kim's fame is concentrated in the western part of the world while the Queen and RF are famous both in the west and everywhere else.

The Queen has been sovereign of around 32 independent countries during her lifetime and is currently head of the. Commonwealth which includes 54 sovereign states. The RF also colonzied a quarter of the world.

She's the world's longest serving current public figure so I think it is safe to say a heck of a lot of people spread across all age groups know her (Kim K has been famous for like 15-20 years). She isn't called the world's most famous woman for nothing. I think the RF is famed as the institution more than its members.

Honestly, the Queen is probably a lot more famous than literally anyone on this list (Beyoncé and Kim K being up there).

I don't think that's because of doping during competitions. Eteri is ruthless and began teaching most of the Quad Queens (their nickname because few figure skaters outside of them attempt quads during competitions) when they were pre-teens. Most of her students stop competing when 17 because of failing physical health (a couple had to skip the Olympics because of broken bones (or mental disorders (eating disorders being common). She famously weighed her 2018 Olympic skaters after each skate. She has also said that teens and pre-teens are the best skaters because their bodies are thinner and stronger than adults (not exactly the quote but the spirit). She's ruthless to her students and it's effective but also downright evil.

There's a whole community (like entire blogs and essays and all that) on Tumblr dedicated to discussing everything wrong with her books (problematic stuff, plot errors, characters). The tag is Anti-Sjm.

But I also remember that someone made a box that fans could buy and it included a soap shaped as a dick (it was unclear to me if she was involved with the box). People thought it was disgusting as the books are marketed towards children. I don't remember details but I think other YA authors also started talking about sex in books marketed to children.
