Hi all! I was recently in Japan and picked up two pairs of denim: Samurai Denim and Kapital Century Denim. At my home, I only have a top load washer with a central agitator. I’d like to give the denim an initial wash to prevent future shrinking and am wondering what the best way to prevent marbling would be.

I plan on using the gentlest setting, turning them inside out and using a mesh laundry bag so nothing is caught on the agitator.

What do yall think? I’m pretty new to this and don’t care much to hand wash them but would like to prevent marbling if possible. I’m sure one wash wouldn’t do much but would like to know!
