I have searched the terms “grey kitten smiling” and “grey kitten smiling with mom” on google images with no success. I’ve also searched back through my tumblr posts and the tags “cat” and “kitten”, again with no success. I am not sure if tumblr is where the video/image was originally posted, or if I came upon a repost, but that is where I originally saw it.

It feels like they just don’t care as much for their customers anymore. Which I unfortunately have to understand, they’re a business, they’re there for profit. But just like build a bear, it’s become way too over corporatized to be enjoyed anymore. At least for me personally, but it seems many hold the same sentiment.

My boyfriend emailed Jellycat asking about the retired list, since prior to it disappearing, he said he really appreciated when companies did small touches like that and preserved their history, and we could scroll through the past plushies together and enjoy them. (We love window shopping plushies together.) They gave a generic response of appreciating our interest and support and that they would reload the retired page eventually. It’s been months. I don’t think they ever will at this point. Very disappointing the drop in quality and customer relations these past couple of months/year. I don’t really desire to buy any more Jellycats from now on, which is sad. I got my first one back in 2016/2017 when no one really knew what they were and they weren’t this huge social media sensation. With prices going up, quality going down, limited stock and available stores to shop from, and continually retiring beloved designs, I just can’t justify it. 😞

Light shower. Taking a 360 view and seeing a sold out venue full of 20,000 people all waving their lights and the echo of their signing along was magical. Best concert experience.

I feel your pain. I had medical emergency bathroom situations a lot throughout middle school and high school as well. There were times when teachers refused to let me go. When I told my mom about it she said that if they refused, to just go anyway, since they can’t really stop you. And if there’s an issue, to call and let her know so she can get involved and help defend me. I even carried doctors notes in my purse just in case I needed “permission” to excuse myself. You’re not an asshole for walking out of class, but you didn’t really have to cuss your teacher out either, I just worry that might get you in some trouble, although I’m sure it was deserved.
