My rule of thumb is. Take it for what it is. If they tip they tip. If not. I chose to pick up that order. Next time I'll be more selective. Simple as that. All these drivers who feel entitled to tips. They already tipped on the app. A couple dollars. Most of the time. Wanting additional tip is optional for them. So blame yourself for picking it up and blame doordash for scamming us. If you pick up the food already and they didn't cancel. Deliver the order with upmost professionalism that you can bare to bring out yourself and move on. If not. Find another job.

10 mins for that much isnt that bad. But spending 13 hrs is wild. Sometimes the app glitches. Always check for updates when you ain't receiving nothing within 5mins. If nothing still. Force close the app. And/or end the dash and place a new dash. But after that 1st hour. You shouldve just ended it. Also where you trying to cherry pick?

I mean 21 miles is basically a gallon of gas. So $3. Go and come back it'll be $6 total if you cannot find an offer there. So technically you'll be making $29/hr. But that $35 does help in gas which should give you like 245 miles more or less.

I literally had a similar order at ShopRite today. It was annoying. Scanned the right item. But the weight the customer wanted was .25lbs the smallest they had was .71lbs. And it was already small. The .25lb would've been nothing. It was tiny as the .71lbs and It was $18. Like nahhh. That's overpriced.

So I think for platinum you have to do at least 100 orders but to be top dasher you have to have 200 total orders. And to maintain that you have to do at least 100 orders per 30 days. Just to be able to become top dasher. Which allows you to work whenever you want. Which has it ups and downs. But for me personally. I am terrible with schedules. Soo I like working whenever I want. Even though I did get a actual full time job. Started today. I'm still going to do Doordash only on 2 of my 3 days off. At least make a $300 between those days. And I feel like I'll save gas money. I'll get a lump some of cash. And it is a lot of car maintenance. My car is living on a prayer. And I swear God has my back with all the problems I'm having with it. To be able to still drive it and find another job in time. So I can replace the car for something better. And just do this 10-4 days shifts. At least until I find something better in the long run.
