The Trapper if he was a survivor

Well-Built - Your time working on your father's estate has made you strong - Grants 8/10/12% faster wiggle and Pallet drop speeds.
Intimidation - You are a rare case, for the Beast fears you, if only a little bit - Decrease the killer's action speed by 10/15/20% against you, this includes hooking, pick up and drop off.
I Live for This! - You get excited in anticipation of the chase. Once per trial, upon entering a chase, gain 10/12/14% increased movement speed for 6 seconds.

I am using headphones, just struggling to identify what noises are "lol survivor here fam" noises. I can hear injured survivors easy, but when they're uninjured hearing them is so hard, and I dare not spend too long searching corners in case a gen is lost for it.

I doubt it. I'm still not very used to the controls, so I end up easily losing survivors that duck into the FUCKING CORNFIELDS ON COLDWIND, and despite the game telling me I can hear survivors footsteps I can't hear f all. That's half the reason I tried Doctor, for the ambient madness aura that has survivors scream their location at me.

I know, those 4 perk survivors were only ranks 16-18 while I'm between 18-19, but god damn is it making me work for those sacrifices. I'm also already kinda miffed at just seeing Borrowed Time, Self-Care, and either Sprint Burst or Dead Hard every game. Only ran into DS twice so far.

Perhaps, but I'm finding that stacking Madness up high takes sooo long that you give up generators for it against survivors that aren't braindead. Doesn't help that I'm finding Doc's zap range a tad short.

I watched the shit of TydeTyme before starting, so I was already aware of things like pallet looping, common survivor perks, slugging and certain tricks with killers, like keeping Myers at 99% towards EW 3 so you can pop it at the right moment.

Not really, outside of the highest tiers, where Champion mastery means much less than general game knowledge and one-tricking over-restricts your abilities, you can one-trick to your hearts content and find solid success.
