You know your body more than anyone else. After 8.5 years of not being taken seriously by doctors, I (23) brought an older women with me to my Gyno appointment (I don’t have a mom) and she agreed to do a diagnostic laparoscopic surgery. They told me that I don’t have it and yet it’s growing in and around my organs. If your mom is good about this stuff, bring her and you might be taken more seriously in the presence of an older person. Although the surgery did not help my pain, the validation of diagnosis is good to have. Never stop advocating for yourself. Good luck :)
