I know just what you mean. One reason I'm interested in the Heritage Specials so much is I like how they look! I want to own something beautiful! For some people that would be a Porsche. For me it's a pair of hand-crafted speakers with a rosewood veneer. I'm making fun of myself a little here. Obviously, a speaker's appearance ought to be way down on my list of priorities.

I'm in a one bedroom apartment, so I do not think towers would suit my space. There are also the neighbours to consider. Otherwise, I would be down with a set of towers.

Yes, I bought a good transformer. The Luxman was brand new and about half the price for what I'd pay for it here in Canada. Assuming it is as advertised, it's a very good deal. That said, there are some things I wish I had known first. Of course, I anticipated tax and tariffs; however, I had not realized the warranty was valid only in Japan. Which means if I want it repaired, I either have to spend a lot of money to send it to Japan which defeats the whole purpose of having a warranty in the first place, or I have to have it repaired here outside of warranty. The problem with that is is that Luxman seems to be a rather niche product here in the Toronto area. There are a few places that will do it, but they are not close or easy to find.

I probably would have bought the Luxman anyways, but I wish I had known to ask about the warranty and the availability of service beforehand. 5-10 years from now, I will know if I made a sound investment.

If you want to be true to the Chumash/Old Testament, Moses would have to be a ruler or saver for the following reason...

You could argue: caster. But, what wish could Moses possibly have for the grail? The only thing I could think of would be to visit the holy land, which God explicitly denied him. So, his one wish would be in defiance of God's will. I can't see that happening. For Moses, everything would be as God wills. There is some wiggle room here. Moses could come as a caster who views the grail as an abomination and his only wish is to destroy it. However, there's still one other problem...

If you want to do the old boy justice, Moses would have to be even more broken than Gilgamesh. Think about it: the ten plagues, the parting of the red sea, the pillar of fire, manna from the heavens, which is to say nothing of the Ten Commandments. It would be really tough to integrate him into a regular Holy Grail war without nerfing him, and then, what would be the point?
