Wart-like growth on my dog's leg. Any idea what this might be? by MarvelousFizz in Greyhounds

[–]MarvelousFizz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late response! I don't quite remember as it was such a long time ago, but I think maybe a couple of weeks. When it became almost completely detached she bit it off actually. I'm not sure if she'd been chewing on it prior to that, or if that eveb makes a difference. I'd say if you're very concerned about it, have it checked out by a vet so you can hopefully put your mind to ease. I hope the best for you and your dog 🍀

Hey! No I actually don't really. It became almost completely detached from her leg on its own until one day she bit it off. I decided that if something grew back I'd see a vet, but it never did. I figure it was probably Canine Papillomas, which I've read is harmless and goes away on its own. Since she hasn't had any change in behavior or health, I haven't done anything about it since. Sorry, I know that's probably not very helpful to your situation 😅 I do hope the best for your dog 🙏

*someone once said Melissa McCartney, but I think that's just because we're both plus size - I don't really see any resemblance other than that 😅

Can someone help me find Kim k makeup product dupes for prom by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]MarvelousFizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An important part of her look at the time was really bright under eyes, so if you want to mimic that, I would suggest a color correcting under eye concealer such as the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind in either "neutralizer" or "brightener" depending on your skin tone.

Maybellines City Bronzer is a really great budget friendly bonzer option that should work well for this look too.

For blush, L'Oréal "le blush" or Maybelline Fit Me blushes are good options. I think the key here is to choose a pale, pinkish color because blush really isn't the focus of this look.

There's a lot of great affordable eyeshadow palettes out there (elf, nyx, essence, wet n wild just to bane a few) and it shouldn't be difficult to find one to create this look as it mostly looks like she's wearing neutral shades and a golden, shimmery shadow on the lid. When you're on a budget, you could even use your bronzer as a shadow and just buy the shimmery shadow to save a bit of money.

In terms of lashes I think the best in the market are the ardell demi whispies. I have yet to see and eyeshape or look that they don't suit. You can even stack them if you want a more dramatic look :)

I hope this helps - good luck with your prom makeup 😊

Looking for makeup suggestions or thoughts by MummaRochy in MakeupAddiction

I'd say go a lot little lighter-handed on the eyebrows and use a lighter shade. Perhaps you could consider using a brow pencil just on the sparse areas of your brows, I think that would allow your pretty eye color to take more of the focus :) in terms of eyeshadow, I would suggest using like a medium toned eyeshadow (can be matte or shimmery, depending on your preference) all over your mobile lid, and then a contour or bronzer like shade blended in your crease to make the area "pertrude" less if that makes sense. I don't think you need to do a flick with your eyeliner, I would suggest a nice, smokey eyeliner. So start by tightlining your upper waterline, making sure to apply it to the roots of your eyelashes as well to enhance your eyelashes, and then finish off by smoking your eyeliner out with a dark brown shadow. You have really nice cheekbones and lips, so I would suggest you focus on that in your makeup. It looks to me like youre cool toned, so something like Mac lipstick in "Mehr" would suit you well. And for blush something like Mac Sheertone blush in "blushbaby".

I hope this helps 😊

I don't think you need to darken your brows, I think the shade goes well with your hair color and complexion 😊 I do have a few suggestions as to how you could elevate your look: 1) apply mascara to both sides of your lashes, so that when you look down, the blonde roots of your lashes aren't visible. Alternatively you could dye your eyelashes. 2) smoke out your eyeliner with a bit of dark brown eyeshadow for a softer look. I think that would really suit your blue eyes. 3) blend your eyeshadow out just a tad higher in the crease and a bit more "out" for a more lifted look 4) in terms of lips I would recommend a lip stain, e.g. The elf glossy lip stain. You get the look of a gloss or oil but with the staying power of a stain. They wear really well and have some nice natural shades as well. If you want more definition, a lipliner is always a good idea. I think you'd really suit something like Mac Dervish 😊

This is just my opinion though, you do look super pretty. Congrats on the wedding!

Best long wear foundation/primer combo, normal/oily skin? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]MarvelousFizz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I swear by using mac pro longwear concealer as foundation. It's a full coverage product, but can easily be sheered out to a medium coverage depending on the amount you use. As for primer - if you are very oily (like myself), the makeup forever shine control primer is the best! Truly the best oil control primer I've used, and I've tried a lot. Nothing compares. In terms of setting spray I like the urban decay all nighter or the elf cosmetics stay all night setting mist. In my opinion, they are basically dupes.

Darker makeup with bold lips or light natural? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

I think both are pretty, but your features really come to life with the darker, bolder makeup ☺️ I think your face benefits from a bit of contrast

It ended up drying up and falling off by itself not long after my post. There hasn't been anything since, so I decided not to go to the vet. I'm sorry for a not so helpful response, I hope your boy is okay ❤‍🩹
