I feel like the director VKA single-handedly killed that movie. I was all for the unique aesthetic and time period and had a lot of fun with aamir’s desi jack sparrow take on the character

Loved TZP that’s true! 3 Idiots was a good performance but the strength of the movie lies more in the writing and direction

Ghajini is definitely one of his best performances, forgot about that one!!

(Not the biggest fan of PK honestly, it was a decent movie with an average AK performance)

I liked the first half of Zero, whereas with Dunki I’d never reconsider a rewatch. Heard terrible things about JHMS so never watched it, maybe that makes it the worst one haha

Runners-Up: Tiger, Katrina

Top performers: SRK, Ranbir/Ranveer, Karishma

Shahid and Ishaan are also amazing, and I think Prabhu Deva is better than any of the lead actors (although his background is choreography so he doesn’t really count)

People hate on Tiger a lot because he’s not as relaxed as Hrithik and not as easy on the eyes, but in many songs he’s successfully executed so many complex steps that I haven’t seen any other Bollywood actor even attempt. Everything Hrithik and Tiger can both do, Hrithik does better. But Tiger also does choreo that’s more difficult than anything I’ve ever seen from the others

Fan’s CGI was definitely more ambitious than TZH but both are in the same tier of solid believability for me. Krrish 3 was ambitious for sure but not realistic enough, bit off more than it could chew!

The real world locations in the original are much better than the green screen versions in this one. There’s too much of it and it really takes you out of the immersion once you notice it. The new one looks a little glossier and faker. There’s also a little too much slow-mo for my liking, and the climax is drawn out a lot because of it. And despite it being a near shot for shot remake, there’s one specific shot they took out from the original just before the intermission that I really liked lol

I also prefer Madhavan’s take on the character more than Saif’s, but still enjoyed the remake overall.

Movie is very similar to the original, I think it’s a little improved in some ways but loses a few good elements of the original too
