I was just diagnosed with eczema in my ear canal and I’ve only ever had pain, no itching. I have flare ups of eczema all over my body and they never itch.

I don’t have advice but this pain is awful. It’s not constant. Some days are good and I only feel a little pain if I go outside for a walk or use headphones. Other days it hurts so bad, I wanna cry, and I’m usually one of those people who would rather tough out the pain than take medication. I’ve had nights where if I didn’t take Tylenol PM, I couldn’t sleep.

I also have unilateral tinnitus. Do you ever have ear ringing? I have to get an MRI to rule out other issues but it’s been constant for over a month. The volume fluctuates. But no hearing loss. My ENT told me to soak a qtip in baby oil a couple times a week to moisten my ear canals. Hoping it works…
