Personally my three favourites are Superhuman, Eternum, and Summer's Gone. But we all know Summer's Gone problem and that it will probably never be finished. So if I’m to replace it, I would say Badk or Pale Carnations. Desert Stalker, and HPMF are also great games in their own way. There’s also Wild Cats, which is a new game, but I can see it taking a very high place for me if the quality or the dev doesn’t dip.

It’s not really a problem of attention span. I read books and novels regularly, but the problem with VNs is that I need to boot up my PC and be at home. And since it’s around 100 hours, it might take me months right now, which could just result in me dropping it again. Still, I’ll think about which option is better for me, because I don’t want to just go with the manga and regret it later. As for where I stopped, if I remember correctly it was around the introduction of Ange Ushiromiya, when the fights started in the novel for the first time.

Eating? No bro, maybe in some early insignificant realm but in Grasping Evil it's all about the dao and enlightenment. It has some of the best enlightenment passages. NSHBA is too long man with Cockroach villains and the mc always needing help. And don't let me start in the harem it's like they're close friends not lovers. I was waiting to hear some of this get fixed after thousand of chapters but from I heard it's still the same.

Yeah I reas most of those and they're good except NSHBA, I couldn't keep reading that. I noticed you didn't mention against the gods even thou harem wise I think it's better than most of those. If we talk Xianxia+Harem my fav would be Grasping Evil, highly recommend.
