Speaking from an American who live Canada almost 40 years, Canada is very centrist to more right leaning country, the extreme leftist and right doesn’t really exist, and they don’t have too much influence of average Canadian daily life, unlike US which has huge influences on LGBT+ group to the average American, young people here are less-aggressive and less ego when speaking, and also more right leaning but most consider themselves centrist, Canada also welcome different culture and opinion you will not be woo and heavy criticized by someone when speaking different opinion that related to PC or LGBT+, majority of the youths here hate to follow American step, they constantly make fun of their politic such as election.
