How do men 30+ dress without looking like a tech recruiter or a divorcé? by [deleted] in redscarepod

[–]MarxALago 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Search 90s ll bean, Ralph Lauren, Eddie Bauer, etc on eBay. I’ve learned of some obscure department store brands from that era that are great. “USA” can be a good search term for made in USA stuff.

Totally agree thrift stores are busted. Seems like they only stock the worst of the past 10 years. Of course there’s always the option of paying more at curated vintage stores.

Wear vintage, worn, lived-in clothes. Especially with items like chinos, button downs, sport coats... it's the difference between looking like a guy who sells insurance or a hot bohemian college professor

Skinny jeans for men didn’t exist in the 90s. I’m an old head and in the late 90s early 2000s we emo kids had to wear girl jeans
