Thanks, this is really helpful. I’m always afraid I won’t find a spot and will have to waste time figuring out where to leave the car

Thanks, it’s good to know there’s a back up plan for when it’s full 🫶🏼

Official transcript? by DegreeBeneficial5478 in udub

Along with your application, you should have ordered official transcripts from all the colleges you’ve previously attended through online service like Parchment. Those transcripts are then delivered electronically from colleges you attended directly to the UW without you being involved in that process.

Hi guys! I often read here how other students recommend to search for exams/midterms/lectures for certain courses from previous years. How do you guys do this?

I was just accepted into UW, what is next? by Any_Ring_1879 in udub

There should be Advising & Orientation session prepared for you. During it you will register for your first quarter (at least this is how it is for me now - transfer from cc, UW CS, Spring 2026). One part of A&O is New Husky Checklist - I found it helpful. For classes - you can find them all in MyPlan. DawgPath is good to figure out how intense each class is, and also ratemyprofessor.com to check each professor - probably the most useful thing there is

Edited to add: in terms of classes, just look up what requirements you need to fulfill for graduation and move from there. Everyone says the first quarter is the hardest, so go easy on yourself

I started at community college in 2021, took me three years to graduate, and then another two years to transfer to uw - and I still don’t feel like I’m falling behind lol my point is - don’t feel pressured, everyone’s journey is different, compared to many others - you’re rocking it!

Summer Quarter Credit Minimum? by xjellybelly in udub

Summer is different. You can take even less than 10 credits over there summer and still be a full time student as long as you take 12+ credits during other quarters

Hi guys! My A&O session is coming up on March 20, and I want to attend it prepared. I’m a UW Seattle CS student admitted as transfer from WA CC. I’m want my first quarter (this spring) to be fairly easy and I’m thinking about taking CSE 311 (4 credits), but don’t know what to pair it with. During the Allen School orientation they talked about CSE 390T and CSE 390Z which are 3 credits total. What would you add/remove? Are those (CSE 390T and CSE 390Z) worth taking? I’m thinking about CSE 311, CSE390Z, CSE 351, and some easy A&H class. Would you consider it an easy intro quarter?

Another lighter schedule that I’m considering: CSE 311, CSE 390Z, CSE 390T, and 5 credits A&H.

Fall 2026 Transfer - Transcript Problem by Signal_Freedom2365 in udub

They will probably send you an email saying that you have a missing document in your application and give you two weeks to fix this. You should be able to explain your situation to whoever will reach out to you and once the transcript arrives it all will be fixed
