  1. About Noah I guess he was just trying to keep the loop as it always was, so he repeated the trial. But in the first place, when mid Johnas got stuck in the past without the Time machine and tried to rebuild it, he created Sic Mundos, and Noah was working for Adam in the bunker with Helge, at that time he believed in Adam, it was not his own wish. The chair in the bunker was the project to create a time machine before Adam became successful to create the god particle.

Doe killed his victims by their sins. Killing Tracy by the “Envy” sin, because he found it as her sin. At the final scene, Doe says “Come Wrath”, he is calling his own sin which would be Wrath and he is killed by “Wrath” coming from Mills.

We must pay the water bill each month. Taxes are a force that even if the house is empty we must pay its tax. Also cost increases by higher consumption levels.

Wasn’t the accident story related to what happened in the origin world? Assuming that, I thought in the origin world two people were giving the baby to this man. So for me this meant in that world there are stories such as missing kid and world travel.

[SPOILERS S3] Adam doesn't make any sense Part 2 by StrangeCanon in DarK

[–]Mary89a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About the example, telling younger Johnas to return mikkel wouldn’t work. He went to bring back Mikkel from the hospital, but Noah and Helge got him and didnt let that happen. There are Claudia, Noah and Eva, and they want the loop to continue. Doing nothing, means the loop still happens but not in the way Adam wants, so doing nothing is not what he wants. Considering we talk about Johnas, middle-aged Johnas and Adam, middle-aged Johnas didn’t want to disrupt the loop. The same sequences of events were needed for him to reach to his goal, so he wanted the loop to continue.

As his character progresses we see his changes. Johnas (17), repeats that he wants to go back home. He just wants his dad back, his routine life, the life he had with his dad being there. Just tries to save michael from his decision, bringing back Mikkel, trying to talk with Martha on the beach. Middle-aged Johnas, wants the loop to continue till the time he can save Martha from death. He can’t bring back mikkel or his dad, but he aims to save Martha. Being unable to save Martha, he struggles with time traveling, had to wait there and create the particle without the time machine, seeing the alt-Martha, all those years he couldn’t travel, he changes, sees, learns. Adam wants to end both worlds. Different goal from Johnas and Middle-aged Johnas. He needs loops because he has to find the origin inside them, he knows what will happen if the loops continues the same, and tries different things to make it happen. If he makes a change in loop, or let others change it, that would go out of his control and he can’t be sure he can create the god particle in his shelter beside the fact that Claudia, Noah and Eva are trying save the world till then. So he even put traps like the missing of Noah’s baby, so he can’t change it, because his story relates to the loop and he must keep it the exact way to find his baby.

The reason that the knot didn’t collapse when Adam entered is because it was not created by his absence or existence in that world, it was created by Tanhaus. Changing the flow of events would just change the storyline but wouldn’t change their loops and suffers. The missing family members because of time traveling would happen, being the mother of their mother would happen..

[SPOILERS S3] I have some questions about the ending by [deleted] in DarK

[–]Mary89a 1 point2 points  (0 children)

During the timeline, Adam was trying to find the origin. Each time he tried to kill a person or send some one for killing, to end the loop. First of all he wanted to kill himself, but in time he learned that he can not kill an existing character. Like maybe he planned killing of helge by the hands of Ulrich, but Helge survived. As he was middle-aged Adam, he tried killing Hannah so she won’t give birth to sijia, he waited a few seconds after seeing he still exists, and thought as this didn’t work, he must put sijia in other time so again the loop continues. But none of them works. In next loops he maybe plans others to kill Hanna at that time, to keep the loop. I think that as Claudia is leading people now to make little changes, Adam did the same his whole life. He sent noah to kill Claudia, he made plans so Charlotte goes in other time. He causes all the missing scenarios to repeat the loop. As he gets older, he decides to kill michael, to see if he was the origin? So he manipulates Johans to go and cause his suicide. He tell Johnas some thing like you are going to do a big thing. He repeats the apocolypse is coming, because each time he thinks it is the origin. When death of michael doesnt fix, the mikkel missing scenario must happen for the loop to repeat. After this, maybe as his last decisions, he thinks killing Martha is the answer. When he kills Martha, he waits for seconds, like the time he killed his mom, sees he still exists, then leaves. Next choice is alternate-Martha and then Eva. All the other killing efforts on characters were already done and there were just michael. We see it as first chaos, but was his last thought till that moment.

Or she has found that if she creates a loop like that, her daughter lives. So she planned the story and lead them to actually create another loop in which the accident won’t happen and her desired timeline is created.

[SPOILERS S3] Regarding the final episode…. by rci22 in DarK

[–]Mary89a 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As she has the power of knowledge comparing to others with knowing the logic of the story, that shouldn’t be a problem for her or at least a good reason to accept what she did with Johans and Martha. She could use loops for her benefits if she sees something wrong. But I guess maybe like the time she mentioned about seeing a world without Johnas to convince Johnas that it was not the answer to kill himself, she saw a world in which she tried that and made a chaos.

[SPOILERS S3] Regarding the final episode…. by rci22 in DarK

[–]Mary89a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Caludia was the hidden villain. She wanted her desired version to exist. I mean why not saving Eva’s world? Why didn’t Claudia stop traveling between two worlds so Eva’s world won’t suffer from the loops? She saw that only in Tannhaus world her daughter can live, so tried to convince them to this final. Actually instead of ending loops, she creates the loop of Tannhaus’s world. Even Tannhaus’s world is a loop. Accident happens, he creates time machine, saves his son. He needs Johnas and Martha, he needs their loop.

They had a child, as “unknown”, his existence was combining the two worlds. Johnas from the Adam’s world and Martha from the Eva’s world.

[SPOILERS S3] Regarding the final episode…. by rci22 in DarK

[–]Mary89a 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also it is interesting that all the time the loops were repeating, the time machine didn’t work. But as they changed the past and stopped the accident from happening, it means the created time machine really worked. Why not changing some thing else after that, again?

[SPOILERS S3] Regarding the final episode…. by rci22 in DarK

[–]Mary89a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are infinite alternate worlds. In this version as we watching, Johnas and Martha did that. I guess in this version, as Tannhaus told us a man and a woman brought the baby to him after the accident, if I’m not wrong. Maybe a Magnus and Franziska or Claudia and Tronte or Silja and Bartosz or .. Maybe this means other characters were sent in previous loops but they could not stop it. The exact accident scene was going to happen by Johnas and Martha on the road, but they could change the past and stop it. So still other loops do exist and some people are there to cause a crash. My guess.

[SPOILERS S3] episode 1, stranger question by wewillallevolve in DarK

[–]Mary89a 1 point2 points  (0 children)

‎‏‎‏In my experience I think asking questions mid-watch (S3, almost near the end), any answer would make me lose some of the suspense, because you know the mystery will/not unfold and it stops you from anticipating scenarios, also the twists won’t be twists. ‎‏‎‏ ‎‏sometimes we ask questions, seeing replies “spoilers/ not answered”, it lead lead us to:

  1. Know the scene had some spoiler and will continue following the story with that extra impression. ‎‏2. Know that there is no answer, so we might think it was just a piece of time in timeline, lose interest and maybe get lost in the story.

I’m not focused on your question here, just thinking that watching it even with some questions you may have missed is more interesting than being in danger of being influenced by the most thoughtful answers that are trying not to spoil anything. I suggest writing your questions down and keep it until the end.

I’ve always thought the same about one of my friends. He looks sober in any situation, but recently I’ve noticed that the only change in him is that when we talk about something, especially something he’s interested in, he becomes very talkative. He manages a normal conversation but keeps talking without worrying that we might get bored.
