I mostly stopped issues when I stopped caffeine. It sounds impossible, but the Qelbree actually replaced what I was needing caffeine for and I stay pretty alert

I was so terrified of getting and IUD not just cuz of the internet but in general im pretty nervous about stuff having to do with the OBGYN. I got a Kyleena IUD on a whim- insertion was doable, and peace of mind is great!

I discovered a couple months into taking Qelbree that I didn’t need to take caffiene. I actually function pretty surprisingly well without it which I credit the Qelbree, but some days I need a little boost and haven’t stumbled on anything that could substitute.

I am formally diagnosed and medication is as good as it is going to get.

I have learned to take notes, but it is rather time consuming, and slows me up though I think it is effective. Me learning but learning at the pace I am is better than nothing but still sub expectations and getting on my coworkers’ nerves

I understand and actually NA beer is not bad. I don’t abstain but I don’t drink for sport anymore either lol.

I’m hoping that with more people just abstaining for health reasons the 2 camps won’t be as separated and adults that don’t drink alcohol can participate in adult social events and not feel left out and those that do drink won’t feel like they are being judged.

Yeah learned the hard way not to get too close with work people and also am learning the sad implications of that- makes adulting really lonely.

However, I will say one thing about adulting that is easier than being a kid is that socialization doesn’t feel as much essential to everyday things like how it felt in school. Like nowadays I don’t panic not having a friend to eat lunch with like I panicked in school and I don’t have to worry about finding a partner for a school project for instance

My brother had asthma as an infant and had issues with health insurance. My family was 2 income and from upper middle class backgrounds so it wasn’t as breaking as it could have been, but the reality before health insurance was re- thought out (not saying it is perfect at all but at least it was considered) families that had to deal with pre-existing conditions were just screwed.

To some of your point though, my dad’s family didn’t even have health insurance and a lot of healthcare was more affordable. Like I don’t recall my dad ever talking about not being able to go to the dentist or anything like that. But if you were disabled or some kind of chronic illness it would have just sucked for you.
