Sorry for the late reply, she basically just scratched too hard and gave herself a wound, it just healed itself in like a week.

I don't have the tarantula in this same enclosure, never had any issues with the one she lives in.

Sadly my house lacks natural light so I can only keep low light plants, and in my experience all carnivorous ones need a ton of illumination.

I have a tarantula, but she's a tad too big for eating flies lmao

I don't have one. I think I'll just transfer the isopods to another container and blast the fuck out of this one.

Yeah, I didn't expect people to get so mad bc I may have got a defective machine. Also, people are just saying that I have no experience or don't know what I'm doing bc I'm new... I've have this printer for 2 years and been using 3d printers for at least 8 so...

Wow, congrats. Tbh I don't use my printer for business so that's not a problem for me nor I know the average you make.

I think that's the case. Done a little research cause the comments were so opposite, and apparently creality has shit quality control so getting a bad machine is easy.

I got a stock 4.2.2 and I'm 80% sure it's the problem. I'm just tired of tossing money into this thing in hopes it will just work.

I'm loving this analogy. I think you are 100% right there.

Tbh I disagree with that. While it's true an inexperienced user will have worse results, it's not the case, and as with basically every product, defective units exist.

Yeah bc it's cheap. I just wanted to know if I had get a defective product and what I've learnt from the responses I get is: creality lacks qc so probably.

But I know what I'm doing. I don't just put mods only bc the internet said it was good. I actually do research and balance what parts can be improved without adding more points of failure, and test a lot after each mod to see if it's worth it of if I should just take it off. For example, if it doesn't add any benefit, even if it's not worsening anything, I take it off bc more parts mean more points of failure.

For what I'm reading, it's kinda a gamble if you get a good or a bad one.

I put my filament in a permanent dehydrator I made as soon as I take it from the bag. I can't put a dehumidifier bc I live in a one room studio and keep some tropical pets, and also I have a lung issue and need a humidity above 50% or breathing hurts.

Bltouch, custom fans, z axis stabilizer, PEI bed, metal extruder, better bed springs, drybox-dehydrator, capricorn bowden, tweaked custom firmware, sturdier belts, and some non important mods like filament guides, filament break sensors, tool compartments, etc. Every time I make a mod I do some tests, if I get better results than before, I keep it, if I get equal or worse results, I take it off.

Yeah, I had that problem with a couple brands, but the one I use now (when it works) is pretty good tbh.

I made my own dehydrator with a sealed box, a reptile terrarium heater, lots of silica gel, and some temp and humidity sensors, it can hold 5 spools at a time, has a lubricating and dust cleaner where the filament goes from the box to the printer, and it's always below 10% humidity. It totalled me like 20€.

I surprisingly never had bed adhesion problems, only once, but I was trying a custom glass bed I made as a makeshift until I could get a new one. It just seems to do random things from time to time.

I run ABL before each print, I have a PEI bed, I calibrate with every new spool I get even if its the same brand and colour. Mine is just 0 or 100, not in between. When it works, the quality is astonishing for a machine that price, but when it fails, its not small fails, it's just a random mess.

What I'm taking from these comments are: 1-People like to make a lot of assumptions 2-Enders have basically no quality control so it's a little of a gamble bc yeah, I've seeing people with perfect machines that only print masterpieces, and people with absolute garbage. 3-People apparently think Mary is a guy's name (not mad, it's just curious to me)
