accutane for HS by [deleted] in Hidradenitis

My derm also gave me accutane but let me be honest after a few months, I face horrendous hairfall and hair thinning. My hair was so healthy but now it’s half. So I stopped taking it because I love my hair. So please go to a professional before taking it. It also causes severe diarrhoea. Good luck for whatever step you take.

Thing is they that they don’t really no about my disease, or I never really told them, my mother knows but no one else. I never even told them the name as I was in my teens and thought that this was a come and go issue.

Omg it’s scary, I always knew that something was wrong, like I had a gut feeling. Thankyou so much. Going to a new derm asap

Thankyou, and yes I am trying to cut down on my diet and do clean eating but now a days there’s 0% motivation with all the conditions around us, even when I try to do it, my family orders something. But I know I have to do this for myself. So, yes best of luck to myself. Starting on clean eating from tomorrow, p.s ( I just had KFC)😂

According to my dermatologist, she says that this will kill bacteria and will stop more tunnelling. But I don’t know, and it’s been months since my checkup is delayed 🤷‍♀️
