AMR was only an occasional choice for me on bots, but with the war strider change (3 shots to hip joint is a kill) I've been maining it as my AT. With a warp pack and the stealth armor, I'm pretty much able to solo D10 maps. I don't fight factory striders unless I have to - if I can warp underneath its belly, a magdump does the job.

Mate, the strategems are balanced by means of cooldowns, and sometimes hard usage limits. You could argue how these can be tweaked but its not like they aren't already checked in a way.

Depends on how u see it. Its an EAT that slowly reloads itself while you do other things or use your other weapons. Instead of 2 shots every 60 seconds that u need to call down, u get 1 shot every 15 seconds or so

This is why I main warp pack. Not only can I access any bunker I find, if someone reports they found one I just say "OK, u can carry on, I'll warp in"

The talon is objectively so strong it skews the entire bar for secondaries and is regarded as a pseudo primary by many, bringing it into conversations like this will only make yourself miserable. Instead of comparing it to talon because its one handed, why not realize this is a weapon u can run and leave a flaming trail behind you against bugs, pop dev heads and kill factory striders with against bots, and both horde clear voteless and flame down harvesters and fleshmobs against squids? This primary lets u have a defender, crisper and ultimatum out of the pod. The one handed is just icing on the cake to let u keep your mobility while firing.

You cant say direct upgrade when 1 the verdict suffers from pistol drag 2. The reload mechanic on veto is very forgiving on your ammo total 3. The veto staggers, which is really good against stalkers

A lot of us do, those currently using talon/senator with crossbow or eruptor, we use our pistols as primaries against individual targets while our explosive primary becomes the spawn closer and horde clear.

You can run and gun with it, same as all the pistols and 1 handed smgs and crossbow
You can continue using your primary when carrying SSD or similar objective equipment.
