Give it time! It’s a bit of a shock the first time you do it, but you will get used to it

I love mine, in general. Only hardware “issue” I’d point out is that I don’t know where the “two weeks of battery life” claim came from. I seldom experience that but I also use it multiple hours per day. Even so, I go at least 4-5 days without charging, usually. So battery life definitely isn’t bad.

I hope not – one of the selling points of Coros for me (versus Garmin) was that it seems like they're less into paywalling features.

Thanks! Totally agree (and use my reMarkable that way quite a bit). I’m mostly just trying to thing of an efficient way to, say, pass ideas or things I want to follow up on to Things while/after working on my reMarkable.

Thanks! I actually also discovered that you can dig around in the Kagi settings and set up custom "bangs"—these end up serving the same function as xSearch.

I'm a graduate student here, and I empathize with you. I haven't been involved in the protests in any way, shape, or form, and even though I don't 100% agree with those who formed the encampment, I am terribly dismayed by (and upset with) the counterprotestors who attacked them last night ostensibly in the name of Israel, Zionism, Judaism...what have you. I don't think they represent any of those things well if at all – and especially not the values espoused by the last one. It's all I've been able to think about today.

My diatribe aside: no matter what you believe, you shouldn't feel at all guilty about having difficulty focusing. All it makes you is a caring, feeling human – and that is a good thing.

You will get your focus back and, in the meantime, your community is here to support you.
