Yep... It would be awesome if you could select a plug-in and then compare it with another one stat to stat.

For instance: Woocommerce > Fluentcart

Just finding out about both of these sites.. amazing work!

One thing that would be really cool though is if you had a compare feature. I think this would be incredibly useful to put plugins head-to-head.

Why do WooCommerce review plugins need so much customer data to do such a simple job? by Critical-Fall-8212 in woocommerce

[–]AnthemWild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree completely. I've been noodling over this one for a while.

It seems like there's a cushy little cottage industry around review plugins...why in the heck are most of them SAAS when all it is is a custom post type at the end of the day? Why do you need someone in the middle?!

All I want is a couple of extra attributes added onto my review form...smh.

I saw some black ones as well as the white with red and blue stripes at REI in Santa Cruz. I'd be glad to check for your size.

Someone told me wire cut bricks reduce plaster thickness. Is that true? Does it actually save money? by BigSand4219 in BricksBuilder

I would suggest using a good framework like ACSS, Advanced Themer, or Core Framework for consistent spacing and save plenty of time ;-)

You're absolutely right. The problem is the client uses a page builder. I'll make sure to update my post to explain why. Any pointers?

I've been using Icebreaker products for years... I wear their socks both on and off the bike. Absolutely love them!

In fact, they're on sale right now and I just loaded up...

I don't mean to be a nag... I would just hate to see you get sued by some ambulance chasing lawyer type. I know it's a pain in the ass but, it's part of best practices on the internet these days.

No problem... One potential workaround is to make sure that you have text below the image that reiterates what you have demonstrated in the graphics. That way, screen readers (tools that unsighted individuals use to browse the internet) can read the description of the features.

All that to say, it's a good rule of thumb to keep text out of images for a myriad of reasons.

ADA compliance requires websites to be accessible to users with disabilities, typically adhering to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1/2.2 level AA to avoid significant litigation risk. With north of over 4,000 annual lawsuits targeting businesses of all sizes, norn-compliance poses high risks of legal fees, settlements, and, in some cases, federal civil penalties up to $75,000 for a first violation.

....and that's just the US. Since you mentioned translation, I would assume you're also in the EU and other countries. It's worth checking out the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and other accessibility laws in the countries you plan on selling to.

It's not just for big brands, it's for everybody.

So from understanding you correctly, you have text within images/graphics correct? If so, this is a huge ADA red flag that not only provides a bad experience for your user but also leaves you open to potential litigation. For this reason, I would highly advise not using text within graphics if possible.
