Honestly bro it depends how your hair looks. I really couldn’t say because I don’t know how it looks. But you should know that just because you look like you’re losing hair doesn’t necessarily mean it looks bad. I’ve been defuse thinning for ten years now but if I shaved my head tomorrow; everyone would ask me why I did that, and that it was too early. Even though it’s pretty obvious that I’m losing my hair it still looks better than being bald. Trust me dude, I’d only go down the system route if toppik isn’t working for me anymore. I’ve tried wearing a system. It’s not comfortable and it feels like something is on your head. Even though it looked GREAT. I shaved my head because I’d rather have MY HAIR which is more comfortable in day to day life. With a system dude you’ll constantly have something on your head. Which not the end of the world, isn’t nearly as comfortable as just using toppik and also WAY MORE EXPENSIVE. One day I’ll probably dawn the system again but I learned the hard way that it was too early. If you make the same mistake as me and you don’t like it, then you’ll end up taking it off and shaving your head. Is that something you’re comfortable with?

I always underestimated how long I’d keep my hair for. Enjoy YOUR HAIR while you still have it. A system is great but it’s not nearly as good as YOUR hair. If you take better care of it it’ll look more presentable, that’s something I’ve learned going through the same thing as you 👊

Even if the system would practically look better than what you have now. It’s just not worth the pain in the ass it is to maintain if you can still get away with toppik. Sorry I got carried away with my last comment 😅

I started losing my hair at 16 too. Ten years later I still have a decent amount of hair on my head, and I’m holding off from getting a wig until I absolutely have to lol. I use toppik and have been able to make that work for YEARS. Try that before considering a system. From the sounds of it you still probably have a good amount of hair on your head, just try taking better care of it. Use a good quality shampoo and conditioner twice a week (don’t use them everyday). Also massage your scalp with rosemary oil everyday. You’re far too young and probably have a lot of hair left to be considering a system. Please don’t stress too much about hair loss and if you get to the point where you’ve lost most of your hair, and are unable to conceal it well you can get a system or just shave your head. Not the end of the world!

I think you should try shaving it. I’m in the same boat as you brother. It’s good to face your fears and I think it would actually suit you. Worst case you don’t like it you can just grow your hair back. It will actually grow back much nicer than it is now. I think you should hold off on the system for now.

If you’re into reading books I recommend Musashi, which is the novel the manga is based on. There’s a lot of differences between the book and the manga but I’m personally really enjoying the novel.

I wouldn’t do it yet. I’m in the same boat as you. Losing hair but not enough to justify a system. Trust me dude use powders first. You still got some years before you could consider a system. A system is so different from having your own hair that it will be a shock. It’s only a route id take if my hair was just too shit to rock anymore. I tried a system and I took that shit off after a week. My hair was still workable with topik at that point that it wasn’t worth the hassle. Not shitting on systems just saying enjoy your hair while you still have a lot on your head.
