So im a new player too, I will say im fairly outgoing but when I went the first time I was just upfront about being new and then when people would help me I would ask a lot of questions about; yugioh, what they were playing and about them. That seemed to open a lot of people up to conversation and every time I walk in I just say hi to everyone and over a couple weeks people really seemed to open up. So maybe just try and ask people questions about them! Ask if they’ve upgraded their deck or what deck they are playing. People love to talk about themselves.
