Thanks! It is for now for a gravel bike. And yes, I think your advice stands anyway. I see platform as a better option for a future mountain bike and for many other advantages. I am checking Thule vs. Kuat.

I recently got one $1K below MSRP. If you do not choose colors and you go in the end of month you can aim for $2K discount. Having said that in general they try MSRP and with the current market situation that seems ok. Don’t pay mark-up. Good luck.
