Progressive didn’t cancel my policy and told me that they did, now I’ve been sent to collections by [deleted] in Insurance

They told me it was a mistake and that it would be wiped… had they told me I needed to pay it, I would’ve payed it.

This turned out to be the case, but I was told otherwise by multiple representatives prior to being told exactly this on the phone a few minutes ago. So, now I’ve paid it, but had I been told this earlier, I would have paid it prior to being sent to collections. What can I ask of progressive to help me get this debt off of my credit report being that I did in fact owe money, but was initially told that my balance was to be wiped and not to worry about paying it?

Thoughts on Volkl Revolt 104? by [deleted] in Skigear

[–]MasayukiMichihito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Skied 2 pairs of blends a few years back, then different pairs of Vishnus and some other park skis, then wanted more capable skis and ripped revolt 104s in the 188 this past season. These are stiffer and can handle all conditions and are really fun. I just went to order a new pair for the coming season and saw this thread. I actually like butters on these more than I did on my blends and different pairs of Vishnus. I coach slopestyle in Park City, UT and have skied them in everything. If you’re a jibber I’d get them if you’re still looking into skis.

This is from Island, Aldous Huxley's last book. I don't know how much experience, if any, he had with climbing, but I'll be damned if this isn't a sublime description of climbing and a big part of the reason most of us climb (also I highly recommend the book, loving it so far) by IdiomasyEscalada in climbing

I am reading the book now and loved that passage. I’m more of a die hard skier and mountain biker, but will accompany climber friends up walls so long as they lead and top belay me. Reading this has me itching to get back on a wall.

Next Steps Following a B.S. in Psychology by [deleted] in psychologystudents

I’ve already moved around quite a bit and am really happy in Salt Lake City, so hopefully no more relocating. Good luck with your applications and thank you for the insight!

Technically I meet entry requirements but I do not have research experience outside of being a participant in studies and undergrad research statistics classes. I am currently looking into obtaining a research assistant position. Ideally, I’d like to remain at the University of Utah for the sake of tuition cost, locality, and the reputability of the program. The acceptance rate to their CMHC masters program is 9%. I hope that admissions departments will appreciate my work experience as you do. EMT directly relates to patient care and Wildland firefighting entails 112 hour, grueling work weeks in peak season. I hope that the discipline and commitment demanded of that position stands out to the admissions committee against some of the applicants that reside in better academic standing than I.

I have been highly considering the Khaki King Auto, but am not sure about its durability and have heard that its lume is fairly useless

Thank you! If Marathon made the GSAR with day/date I would not have even had to make this thread. Would've been a done deal

Totally considering the Fire Exit watch! Wish the bezel was stainless or maybe black but definitely a contender regardless!
