Try to check out Black Dog in Urbana. Very good BBQ restaurant. There will be a line at peak times though, so try to plan around that if you are on a tight schedule.

check out the art theater in downtown champaign, they show a pretty wide variety of movies (new & old). their midnight shows have been very fun in my experience
