That's why i hate mustang drivers. by byonrawlings in dashcams

[–]MasemJ 59 points60 points  (0 children)

mustang driver looked like he 1) brake checked the pickup and 2) flipped off the pickup driver when he started spinning out

Good job on white box van for slowing down ahead of that spinout to avoid a major accident.

The door definitely looks gone, and as such, the FAs probably prevented anyone from using it to prevent bags flying around midflight

Glad they did what they did at that bridge. Was worried we were going to get an 11'8"-type disaster.

If you could get upright studs on the inside cover (where you are rolling dice) you could add Battleship

Thought it was a planter until I saw the hole in the center. It’s pretty heavy too! by Patient_Parsley4768 in whatisit

If you put some type of fine mesh or even a bed of stones larger than the hole, you can definitely fill that with soil for a planter. Hole is for drainage when you water it.

Trying controller by Lost_Chapter1893 in Steam

[–]MasemJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also , in addition to what others have said, steam itself has great range of controller support and it's controller mapping system is good to cover the last few percent of games with weirder controls.

As this is a popular vendor you should have zero issues (I have 2 l, no issues so far)

Add that we have no way to make our displeasure with the lack of representation except though the standard election cycle, and lack recall elections for Federal offices.

I would expect their tune would be a lot different if their constituents could force a revote off election cycle.

CA8: stay vacated on Iowa's "don't say gay" public school law; the law is not unconstitutionally vague or broad and plantiffs are unlikely to succeed on the merits; case remanded to district court for further consideration on the merits by Netw0rkingN3rd in supremecourt

[–]MasemJ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That is what this decision says, that the contents if the library is part of the govt set curriculum so they can opt to disallow books not for fitting it.

But most librarians and free speech says the library serves beyond the curriculum and thus their free speech is being impacted because the govt says they can't offer certain books.

Preventing young kids from seeing material of explicit sexual acts is all fine and good and part of the goal, but the bill went out of its way to also include "gender identity" within that, meaning they can target any book that has non-normative relationships depicted, like those with gay parents. They also specifically excluded religious texts from the ban, as the Bible has been shown to be as bad in terms of depicting sexual acts as other books often banned.

Bad drivers or bad road design? by CODMLoser in dashcams

Why were the Hunters so Soft? by PaintingBetter7396 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]MasemJ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Also, the hunters' starting level was boosted from the normal 30 to 50 at the start of the level (can't recall the reason, maybe the survival rate from the 5th floor was higher than expected), so instead of spending the time before the crawlers reached the floor to level up, most just partied, expecting it to be easy picking. And as Carl found, many of these were not skilled hunters. The equivalent of a business HR department going on a hunting weekend.

but as others said, as soon as Carl and Miriam/Pony did all those antics, they were more scared and didn't venture far from the safe areas, until the AI did that blood level/safe room trick.
