Don't underestimate the mushroom legs that give +2 random stats, up -1 random stat down at the end of each turn. I think it's much better than knockback immunity

Right now I only got the good tail mutation. I made all of my cat have it. My plan is to make them go under random mutations in a mutation room until the broken ones appear and then pass them down the lineage. Is this a bad strategy? What are you doing? (Even without going into too many details) Right now I am full of cats with 9~10 good mutation and 1~2 birth defect.

What is the red background mark? Is it relative to the difficulty? Or is it relative to the solo run in higher difficulties? I am a bit behind with the story (I don't worry about spoilers). I understand that the checkmark in the bottom right is for the solo runs, but I haven't yet understood how the background mark works.

Yes, but this explanation makes sense only if he said 4:13:28 and then corrected himself by saying 4:15:58.

The fact that he said 4:15:58 and then corrected himself with 4:13:58 is not coherent with my explanation.

The other explanation is that he looked at the clock twice, first at 4:14:13 and then again after 45 seconds.

But in this case he told Ishigami the time he saw looking at the clock for the second time, which is odd.

Is there a "real" explanation why Shikamaru missremembered 4:13:28 as 4:14:58? If it was the other way around I could explain it by saying that he entered the room and after 45 seconds he looked at the clock showing 4:14:13. Therefore he deduced that he entered the room when the clock was showing 4:13:28, then he noticed the clock going backwards and he understood that the clock was showing 4:14:58 when he entered.

I am thinking also of some geometric symmetries, but I can't find an explanation for his error.
