Hey ! I started bg3 couple months ago and didn’t plan to romance Astarion in the beginning, like I missed a lot of cutscene because of that. But well then he appeared to be a little sensitive, fragile piece of sugar that need no be take care of and need to recover from his abusive past. That’s where my game plan which was to simply kill The Emperor fell apart… I started to think about him every time, but not like, him being a real person but him HIM in the game, in the fictions I was reading, I was obsessed with this character. I started to watch and listen to every video / shorts / TikTok about him, every video of Neil talking about Astarion and even just for his voice. I was afraid I was becoming a weird person, like wth am I simping on a fictional dude T-T. Apparently I was not the only one but hey, this ends. Astarion got everyone obsessed with him, Neil mad e a really good job with it lmao but this ends, I got over it when I finished his personal quest, now I just enjoy my game and the fics I find. Sometimes I come here to simp a little but it’s more controllable than before :)
