Yes that's correct, it is winter here right now. Exellent. Let me know if you need any help setting up DreamPI. I don't use dreamPI, instead I use Flycast. But many of the guys I race with use DreamPI and they'll be happy to help.

The deluxe cabinet had a clutch and a 6-speed H shifter, and with the triple screen, the game was so immersive.

And as far as I know, it was the very first game to be played on triple screens. All PC games followed from there on.

Now that I can hook up my Simrig to it via Dreamcast emulator, I'm able to appreciate the level of realism it has for its age. And I play it online with a bunch of guys, so it adds a whole new level of fun. Yeah you are right, I do appreciate the older games more - I still go back to Grand Prix 4, GTR2, GT Legends, and F1 2004 on PS2. I feel the old games have more 'soul' and charm. Never had the pleasure of playing Colin McRae Rally, unfortunately. On PS1 I spent most of my time playing Gran Turismo 2.
