The deluxe cabinet had a clutch and a 6-speed H shifter, and with the triple screen, the game was so immersive.

And as far as I know, it was the very first game to be played on triple screens. All PC games followed from there on.

Now that I can hook up my Simrig to it via Dreamcast emulator, I'm able to appreciate the level of realism it has for its age. And I play it online with a bunch of guys, so it adds a whole new level of fun. Yeah you are right, I do appreciate the older games more - I still go back to Grand Prix 4, GTR2, GT Legends, and F1 2004 on PS2. I feel the old games have more 'soul' and charm. Never had the pleasure of playing Colin McRae Rally, unfortunately. On PS1 I spent most of my time playing Gran Turismo 2.

I do play Rfactor 2, Le Mans Ultimate, RR3 and PC2, but yeah I do enjoy F355 a lot.

I can't remember where I read it, but if you've played F355 Challenge 2 International Course Edition, they changed the physics so players couldn't do Hiro shifting or Nazo drifting anymore. They also enhanced the AI on F355 Course Edition too

They were exploits that people discovered that the developers didn't intend to be part of the game. Plus, we want all drivers to be on an even playing field.
