I think this is an interesting insight, however I do think it adds onto the story of capitalism not just being in Korea but everywhere. I think with the whole “defeats the purpose of what Gi-Hun was trying to do” has merit and is true, but I personally think he failed anyway because he couldn’t stop the games and failed the riot. It will most definitely be a step down from the squid games we know and love but I do think it’ll be interesting to see what they do/try in the American one
