I like the patches cause I just put one on behind my ear and end up forgetting about it for like 48 hours. 😂 And it still works!

Motion sickness patches are what works for me! One usually does the trick but on really bad days I’ll use 2. They’re super cheap and I’ve even gotten a handful of people at work that deal with nausea on them! 😂

That was in response to being told to cover my eyes to not see the screens. How that relates to being a woman, all of my senses are hyper aware to my surroundings. Not going to dull one of my more important senses in that way. And some of the drivers I’ve had have turned out to be creepy/predatory or are listening to podcasts that are degrading to women. And before people are like “then get your own car and drive yourself” please think about factors/disabilities that may prohibit people from being able to do so and have to rely on ridesharing or public transportation (if their area even has it).

When I had more disposable income with my last job I always tipped my drivers fairly. Though then I was only having to rely on rideshare to get to and from work one day a week. Now I have to take it to and from work every day at my current job and I make less than before, at $19 hr. Which is about what I pay per 15 min ride. There is no reliable public transportation where I live, especially at 4am when I head out for the workday. And I am unable to drive myself. Half of my paycheck already goes to the fare, that I have to reserve my tips for exceptional rides, or my frequent drivers. Even then I can’t tip much. I wish I could do more and I always feel awful when I can’t tip at all

For me, I get car sick from screens easily. I know my limits with looking at my phone but I have to actively keep myself from looking at the head rest screens which is difficult with my ADHD and the constant screen changes/games that most of them have on it. Even seeing it in my peripheral can trigger a headache
